this was the ref i got to use:

he is an very complex Dragon indeed + his very strong and dark colors!
bird wings! but not really bird wings, its like metal feathers really, strong and flat........
i couldn't help my self i needed to do something that still reminds of feathers. i took so many chances on this.
so right no i am a bit nerves

still when i look at this i really feel my fast growing improvements. so thank you for letting me draw your main character *DarkDragon96

i needed to light his colors up just so see where i was and i didn't want to hide the line-art that i am so proud of. you can find all the info about him in his ref.
